This new appendix shall regulate the design and construction of buildings for the effective use of energy and is intended to provide a more energy efficient alternative to the base energy code.

The Sudbury Energy Committee and the Sudbury Building Department are currently reviewing this code change and will make their recommendation to the Board of Selectmen on November 17, 2009 at 7:30 p.m.  If the Selectmen adopt this new energy code, it will replace 780 CMR 13, 34, 61 or 93, as applicable.
