Floor Tile Replacement, Including Removal of Asbestos-Containing Existing Tile

ADDENDUM NO. 2

 I.  The contract documents are changed as follows:

 Delete the following item (2.2.B-2) from:

 SECTION 096519 – RESILIENT TILE FLOORING

PART 2 PRODUCTS

 2.2 INSTALLATION MATERIAL  

               B.  Adhesives:

“2.  Provide Static Dissipative Tile Adhesive with 2 in. (5.08 cm) wide x 24 in. (60.96 cm) long copper ground-connection strips under the tile.”

 

 

II.   Additional clarifications to contractor questions from the November 15, 2010 walkthrough:

 

  1. Mastic is non-asbestos containing and is required to be removed without the use of solvents.
  2. Building shall be considered a school and subject to AHERA.

 

 

III.  This addendum does not affect the original bid date, bid time or bid place.

 

BIDDERS ARE INSTRUCTED TO NOTE THIS ADDENDUM ON THE BID FORM.
