Sudbury Community Garden Plots Still Available!
Sudbury Community Gardens- Plots Still Available!
This is a second call for gardeners who would still like to grow vegetables and flowers this summer in a sunny location with rich soil – Sudbury’s Lincoln Meadows. Garden plots are still available! There are a few left in the organic and inorganic sections made available through the Sudbury Conservation Commission at Lincoln Meadows, located on Lincoln Road, Sudbury, at the base of the Sudbury Valley Trustees’ scenic Round Hill. Plots are available for residents of neighboring towns as well so tell a friend!
Each 30’ x 30’ plot costs $20.00 to cover plowing, manure, staking, and other incidental expenses. If you would like to start small, we will be leasing ½ plots as well. You may lease more than one plot. There is plenty of off the road parking for gardeners by the entry through a locked gate next to the small Lincoln Meadows parking lot. A kiosk with a posted plot map provides guidance to the area, and a hand pump provides water into early summer.
Garden plots are open to planting once the field is mowed which is happening right now! The plots will be staked and numbered thereafter.
