With temperatures rising and rain on the forecast, tonight – March 16th – shows a high chance of being the annual “Big Night,” a mass migration of amphibians each spring leaving their winter burrows. Much of this migration takes place across roadways, so please be vigilant and limit driving as much as possible tonight. For more information about Big Night, see this article from Spring 2023 discussing the phenomenon.
