Firefighter/Paramedic Matthew J. Lawhorn Graduates MFA

Chief John M. Whalen is pleased to announce that Firefighter/Paramedic Matthew J. Lawhorn graduated today from the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy. Firefighter/Paramedic Lawhorn joined the Sudbury Fire Department in August and began the fifty-day rigorous training program in November. Lawhorn is a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, holds a B.S. from Castleton University and completed his Paramedic studies at MassBay Community College. The 24 men and women who graduated today as members of Career Recruit Firefighter Class #308 represented 14 fire departments from across Massachusetts.
