Open Burning Permits – Online Only

This year, the Sudbury Fire Department will offer Open Burning Permits online only. 

Residents who wish to obtain a permit for Open Burning may complete the application below.  Completion of the application will generate a payment voucher which you may pay by credit card or print and send with your payment to: Sudbury Fire Department, 77 Hudson Road, Sudbury, MA  01776.  Once payment is received and recorded, you will receive your Open Burning Permit via email.

Open Burning is permitted January 15th through May 1st.  The process to register for daily burning remains the same and requires a valid 2024 permit number. 

We remind all residents that Open Burning without a permit is prohibited.
