Holiday Open House at the Hosmer House

The awesome Holiday Open House at the Hosmer House in Sudbury center is set for the first and second weekend in December.

Please mark your calendars for: Dec 6, 7 ,10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Dec 10, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Dec 13 ,14, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Then make plans to bring all your family and friends to enjoy the decorated rooms. Entrance, entertainment, and refreshments are all free.

The store will be open for your holiday shopping. Gingerbread people, bake sale, cup plates, hand painted ornaments of Sudbury scenes, throws, mugs, books, decorations, antique jewelry etc. will be available for your selection.

Our Theme is “Holidays Through The Eyes Of A Child.” The house will be decorated by the following organizations, Interior Design-Andrea Roessler, the Sudbury Garden Club, the Boy Scouts, Parmenter Community Health, Sudbury Historical Society, the Thursday Garden Club, Girl Scouts, Lt. Scott Milley VFW Post 8871, Sudbury Villagers, and Save A Dog.

On Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm the 375th time capsule will be prepared for closing at the end of the year. It will be opened on the town’s 400th birthday. Come join us for this event. On Saturday Dec 13, 11:00am the Sudbury Savoyards will delight us with holiday sounds. L/S talented musicians will entertain us on the weekends, a schedule will be released later.
