Sudbury Historic Design Guidelines Update

The Town of Sudbury, acting by and through its Director of Planning & Community Development on behalf of the Historic Districts Commission, invites sealed proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to provide professional research and documentation services for the expansion and updating of the Historic Districts Commission’s General and Specific Guidelines.

Documents may be requested via email by contacting Beth Perry, perryb@sudbury.ma.us, or obtained from the Planning & Community Development Department, 278 Old Sudbury Road, Sudbury, MA 01776, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30AM – 4:00PM, Tuesday 8:30AM – 6:00PM, and Friday 8:30AM – 12:00PM. Questions regarding the RFP must be sent via email to perryb@sudbury.ma.us.

Submissions must be mailed or hand delivered by 12:30PM, Tuesday, August 29, 2024 to:

All submissions must be in a sealed envelope marked “RFP Sudbury Historic District Guidelines Update”. The Price Proposal must be included within the RFP envelope in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked “Price Proposal Hosmer House Historic Structure Report/Cultural Landscape Report”. Emailed or faxed proposals will NOT be accepted.

All Proposals shall remain in effect for thirty (30) days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, after bid opening.

The Town of Sudbury reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all proposals, or to accept any total proposal which it deems to be in the best interest of the Town of Sudbury.
