Sudbury Summer – Camp Director and Camp Assistant Director
Sudbury Park and Recreation is seeking a Camp Director and Camp Assistant Director for our popular Sudbury Summer program. Sudbury Summer is a classic day camp for children ages 5-10 held at the recently renovated Fairbank Community Center. We offer a full menu of activities every session. Campers rotate through a mix of fun, creative, and active programming designed for each age group, including: sports & team games, arts & crafts, theatre & music activities, daily aquatics and STEM program activities, plus special events, shows and field trips (age group dependent).
Candidates must be energetic, organized, and focused on ensuring a safe, positive and inclusive experience for all participants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required; supervisory experience strongly preferred. Pay Range: $26.00 – $35.00
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the camp site. Responsible for camper safety, staff management, scheduling, family communication, and the overall operation of the camp.
Camp Assistant Director
Pay Range: $21.00 – $26.00
Supports the Camp Director in managing the daily operation of the camp site. Provides supervision of staff, assists with parent communication, assists with camper behavior support, and helps lead programming and logistics.
Positions are seasonal and not eligible for benefits with the Town. Must be available Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM while camp is in session (June 29, 2026 – August 7, 2026, closed 7/4/26) and must attend pre-camp training. Note: posted pay rates are ranges; starting pay will based on qualifications.
