The Sudbury Center Improvement Advisory Committee has been reviewing the draft Landscape Plan for the Town Center project with the Town’s consultant, Sudbury Design Group, in hopes of completing some of the work this fall. The plan is a culmination of a yearlong process by the Committee, which included public input by stakeholders in the project area. The Landscape Plan details the historic restoration work for the intersection project, and involves work in Grinnell Park, the Town Common, in front of Town Hall, and along the roadways. The plan takes a simplified approach to the restoration and landscaping components of the Town Center, respecting its current informal design.

A public hearing on the Landscape Plan will be held by the Historic Districts Commission on Thursday Sept. 17, 2015 at 7:30 pm at the Flynn Building. Anyone interested is encouraged to attend the hearing. Comments can also be emailed to SCIAC@sudbury.ma.us.

The Landscape Plan is available to download below, as well as for review at the Planning and Community Development Office in the Flynn Building. The Plan consists of 28 pages.
