  • SMOC Housing Resources – Housing assistance options for families, individuals, people with AIDS, home modification loans, and rental assistance, as well as shelter options. 
  • Housing Consumer Education Center (HCEC) at SMOC– Information on rental and mortgage assistance programs, educational information for landlord and tenants, workshops related to housing/first-time home buying/budgeting for housing, etc. For questions related to housing, email the HCEC here or call the HCEC Hotline: 508-872-0765. Leave detailed information and be aware that it may take around 48 business hours for a reply. 
  • Regional Housing Services Office – Provides the member communities of Acton, Bedford, Concord, Lexington, Lincoln, Maynard, Sudbury, Wayland and Weston with affordable housing support and information, including listings of lotteries for affordable properties.
  • Department of Housing & Community Development: Homelessness Prevention, etc. – Apply for housing assistance, locate a service provider, and get information on COVID-19 housing help.
  • Special Needs Housing Checklist – Financial and logistical considerations when exploring housing options for someone with special needs.
  • Comprehensive Guide to Finding and Maintaining Housing that You Can Afford β€“ Provides information on finding a housing you can afford, the rights & responsibilities of a house, addressing concerns, etc. Also explains the eviction process and ways to address eviction notices.
