The Sudbury Zoning Board of Appeals is looking for residents of the community to serve as Associate Members. Associate Members sit, when individually called upon, as alternates on the full Zoning Board of Appeals, which makes decisions on applications for Special Permits and Variances under the Town’s Zoning Bylaw. Associate Members also serve on the Earth Removal Board which grants Earth Removal Permits in accordance with the Town’s General Bylaw. Desired qualifications include having resided in Sudbury for a period of time, having served on another Town board/committee/commission, having an interest in zoning, and having engineering, architectural, or design expertise.

All interested residents are welcome to submit a Volunteer Application. Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. All members are required to be appointed by the Select Board.
