The Sudbury Board of Health is in contact with the state Department of Public Health concerning the algae blooms at Willis Pond. The state will confirm early next week whether the bloom is considered harmful to humans and pets. People and pets should avoid contact with the water until further information is received and the type of algae is confirmed by the state. The Conservation Commission received word from the Park & Recreation within the last hour that Park & Recreation plans to WITHDRAW their wetland permit requests at the Conservation Commission meeting tonight. Gardeners who would like to grow vegetables and flowers this summer can apply for garden plots located at Lincoln Meadows through the Sudbury Conservation Commission. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday April 30th from 7:30 to 8:30 pm at the DPW Building to explain the rules and regulations of this program. Read full article→
