Volunteers are being sought to serve on an Open Space and Recreation Plan Update committee. The Open Space and Recreation Plan provides the Town with a framework in which to identify properties for open space preservation and recreation, and helps establish priorities among the various projects.  The projects and properties identified in this plan will be considered for Community Preservation funding and other programs. The 2002 plan will be updated, using recent plans including:

  • 2007 Heritage Landscape Inventory Plan

  • 2002 Land Use Priorities Committee

  • 2001 Sustainable Sudbury Master Plan

  • 2004 Park & Recreation Athletic Field Master Plan

If you are interested in working on this document, please indicate your interest by submitting the Volunteer Committee Form by  April 27, 2007. We hope to appoint a committee in early May.
