Route 20 Sewer Citizen’s Advisory Committee Forming

The Sudbury Board of Selectmen is looking for interested citizens to serve as members of the Citizen’s Advisory Committee (CAC), which will study the political and monetary issues associated with the Route 20 sewer project.  The Route 20 Sewer Steering Committee has been appointed, consisting of town board representatives and business owners. The Route 20 Sewer Citizen's Advisory Committee will be made up of a broad representation of residents, business owners and other qualified applicants.  Desired qualifications for the committees include an understanding of the Sudbury business climate, knowledge of federal and state grant funding, knowledge of wastewater treatment facilities, knowledge of financing and betterments, knowledge of municipal affairs, residents with strong analytical, presentation and/or graphic design skills, and/or property owners within the proposed sewer district area.

All members require appointment by the Board of Selectmen. Prospective members will be appointed in September, 2011.
