Housing Production Plan Forum #2
Virtual Community Forum #2, Goals and Strategies
Sudbury Housing Production Plan
Sudbury has been developing its updated Housing Production Plan (HPP) Plan, kicking off last December with its first open house and forum. An HPP in Massachusetts is a plan that helps municipalities better understand local housing needs and demand, development constraints and opportunities, and their vision for the future preservation of housing and the creation of new housing opportunities. During the kick-off forum and public survey, the community shared its thoughts on housing challenges, opportunities, and their hopes for this plan. Now, the town is hosting a second forum that will review the proposed goals and strategies created from the community’s feedback. This Goals and Strategies forum will help this HPP identify the Town’s housing goals and strategies to achieve its five-year housing vision.
When communities encourage homes of many shapes and sizes, it helps to give people of all different preferences, needs, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds affordable options and keep prices from shooting out of reach. We need your help to create a plan for housing solutions that contribute toward a healthy, equitable, and prosperous community.
