Meetings have been on-going throughout the summer months to finalize the proposed amendments to the Zoning Bylaw – a project initiated by the Selectmen over 18 months ago. The public hearing before the Planning Board has been continued to Wednesday, September 13, 2000 at 7:45 pm in the Town Hall. Citizens who are interested in learning about the changes can download the most recent draft of the document (DRAFT 4 – PRESENTATION COPY), with flagged changes, by Clicking Here, and can also receive a reference chart outlining the changes by Clicking Here. Copies of the documents are available for viewing at the Town Clerk’s office, Goodnow Library and the Selectmen’s Office. Paper copies of the document can be obtained at the Planning Board office. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend the public hearings and offer insight on this important project. Questions can be directed to the Planning Board Office at 443-8891, ext. 387, or to email the Planning Board directly with comments Click Here. The Board of Selectmen, as well as the Planning Board, will devote time at the beginning of each meeting during the next several weeks to public comments on the bylaw revision.
