The Town has recently received word from the MA Dept. of Transportation, Highway Division District 3, that the Landham Road intersection project will be progressing through final design and (eventually) construction.  After several years of the Town working with DOT, including the Town's preparation of a corridor study to document needed improvements along the entire Route 20 corridor and preliminary design of a signalized intersection at Landham Road, the state has agreed to take the project on and complete the design in 2013.

The project will include exploring alternatives, including the use of a round-about and signalization, and a public process. All costs of the project will now be funded by the state. The process will begin in the summer and continue until its completion.

Questions about this project can be directed to Bill Place, DPW Director at 978-443-2209, ext. 1389, or Jody Kablack, Planning and Community Development Director at 978-639-3387.
