Sudbury Housing Authority Member Sought to Fill Vacancy

The Select Board is seeking a new member to fill a Sudbury Housing Authority seat vacated by a resignation. As Housing Authority members are elected, this is a temporary appointment which will be in effect until the seat is filled at the next Town Election. Please note, committee members elected at Annual Town Election are sworn in at the conclusion of Annual Town Meeting.

Residents interested in serving on the Housing Authority are asked to apply via the Appointment Application form by 12PM on June 26, 2026. Candidates are encouraged to include a resume with their application and will be jointly interviewed by the Select Board and Housing Authority on June 30, 2026.

 

About Sudbury Housing Authority

The Sudbury Housing Authority owns, maintains and manages 28 scattered-site, single-family and duplex rental houses for low-income families, and 64 apartments at Musketahquid Village for people over 60 and disabled people. Some housing provides a preference for those who live or work in Sudbury. Applicants must meet state income eligibility standards and rents are 27% or 30% of income. Wait Lists are generally open to new applicants.

The Committee typically meets one to two times per month.
