Sudbury residents are requested to verify or correct the information on the form, sign it and return it promptly. Should census forms be received for families no longer residing at a residence, please return to this office with a brief explanation.

The data is used to compile the Sudbury voter lists, Sudbury school planning, and other reports as required by Massachusetts General Law.  Therefore, please include all members of the household if not listed on the 2009 Town Census. If you do not receive a census form by Friday, January 9, 2009, contact Town Clerk’s office to have a duplicate mailed to you.  Please return the Census within 10 day of receipt.

IMPORTANT: The Census form cannot be used to add or update voter status or change affiliation.  You will need to request a voter mail-in registration card or a party change card.

Failure to respond to the Annual Town Census will result in the removal from Sudbury’s active voting list and removal from the resident list for any non-registered voters.  (MGL chapter 51,s.37A, s.59)

There is a “census drop box” outside the clerk’s office at 322 Concord Road and in the Flynn Building, 278 Old Sudbury Road for those who wish to hand deliver the census. For inquiries or further information about the census, contact the office directly at (978) 639-3351
