Sudbury’s Annual Town Census and Dog Licensing 2016

The 2016 Annual Town Census is mailed to all residents the second week in January. Sudbury residents should verify or correct any information, sign, and return the census within 10 days of receipt.

The data from the census is used to compile the Sudbury voter list, Sudbury school planning, and other reports required by Massachusetts General Law, therefore all members of the household should be included.  If a resident does not receive a census form by January 30, 2016, the Town Clerk’s Office should be contacted at 978-639-3351 to have a duplicate form sent.

Failure to respond to the Annual Town Census will result in the removal from Sudbury’s active voting list and removal from the resident list for any non-registered voters.

A completed census can be returned by mail or hand-delivered to drop-off boxes located outside the Town Clerk’s Office (322 Concord Road) and the Flynn Building (278 Old Sudbury Road).

The census packet will include a Form for Licensing your Dog. Dogs must be licensed by 8 PM on March 31, 2016 to avoid a late fee. Proof of current rabies vaccination is required for licensing. Click for information on the Rabies Clinic.

The last day to obtain a dog license without a $25 late fee is March 31st.

The Town Clerk’s Office is open late that evening until 8 PM.
