Several Massachusetts residents have received unsolicited packages of seeds believed to contain invasive plant species which pose a significant risk to agricultural and the environment. Sudbury’s natural spaces have already been significantly impacted by invasive species which have gained a foothold in the area, including bittersweet, Japanese knotweed and garlic mustard.  Help keep new invasive species from being planted.

The Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) requests anyone who receives an unsolicitied package of seed to immediately contact them through this link and a representative from MDAR or the US Department of Agriculture will contact you with instructions for disposal.
