The Sudbury Town Clerk is appointed by the Town Manager. The Clerk holds the rank of department head, and has a staff which includes three full-time and one part-time employees.

State law provides that the Town Clerk is the official keeper of the Town Seal.

The Town Clerk serves as the custodian of Town records including Vital Records and other official documents filed in the Town Clerk’s Office. She is responsible for the maintenance, preservation and disposition of Town records in her custody.
