Conservation Coordinator Debbie Dineen and former Conservation Commissioner Deb Howell, took the Cub Scouts of Den# 11 along with their siblings and parents, on a hike through the Hop Brook Conservation Land on May 26th.  Everyone enjoyed the wide array of wildlife, the warm, sunny weather, and the opportunity to learn more about the nature that surrounds us in Sudbury.  The biggest hit was a 3+ foot-long northern water snake.  A close second was the grey tree frog with its ability to cling with its suction cup toes and hang upside down. Most surprising fact learned by the Scouts – we have crayfish in Sudbury!!
