Located on Dutton Road, Carding Mill Pond. Carding Mill Pond is a 41.4-acre man-made impoundment, with a 3.88-acre watershed. The average depth of Carding Mill Pond is between 2.3 and 3.9 feet, with a maximum depth of about 6 feet. The soft sediment thickness is on average about 3.5 feet with a maximum of 8.5 feet. Water chestnut once covered approximately 20 acres of the pond. |

2021: Treatment Year 2In 2021, treatments were initially effective because there was extensive regrowth later in the season.

2022: Treatment Year 3 Two treatments were conducted, both in July. Upon inspection in September, the health of the pond had improved dramatically. Trace densities of individual plants remained.

2023: Treatment Year 4 The pond was treated three times, once each in June, July and August. Treatments were found to be very effective, with sparse isolated patches that were hand pulled during the final inspection.
