Potential for Cyanobacteria in Willis Pond

The Sudbury Board of Health is in contact with the state Department of Public Health concerning the algae blooms at Willis Pond. The state will confirm early next week whether the bloom is considered harmful to humans and pets. People and pets should avoid contact with the water until further information is received and the type of algae is confirmed by the state.
