The Town of Sudbury is accepting applications for the position of Planning and Zoning Coordinator. Under the supervision of the Director of Planning and Community Development, the Planning and Zoning Coordinator coordinates the administrative elements of various boards staffed by the Planning & Community Development Department, including but not limited to the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Historic Districts Commission and the Community Preservation Committee. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling and administrative work for the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Historic Districts Commission, including attendance at up to 4 evening meetings per month and transcription of meeting minutes; assisting in the implementation of the town’s Community Preservation program; responding to inquiries on planning, development and zoning matters; and assistance in other projects of the Planning and Community Development Department. This position is funded for 32 hours per week. Starting salary range is $23.34-$25.20/hour (Non-Union Grade 7).
