Shared Services Coordinator/Regional Epidemiologist
The Town of Sudbury is hiring for the role of Shared Services Coordinator/Regional Epidemiologist. This is a full-time (35 hours/week), grant-funded position responsible for providing grant management and epidemiology services to ensure the implementation of the scope of services and required deliverables under the Public Health Excellence Grant Program for Shared Services and regional public health priorities. This position will oversee the day-to-day responsibilities for the grant while also leading regional epidemiology services. This position will also be the main contact for the Office of Local and Regional Health (OLRH) communications, and will be a resource for their participating municipalities.
This role requires education/experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of relevant work experience. Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related discipline is strongly preferred. Candidates must be highly organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must also have strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret epidemiologic and population health data and proficiency in assessing urgency of health-related issues and responding appropriately. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $69,312 to $77,767 (35 hours/week) with full range to $91,160. Starting salary will be based on qualifications. The Town currently utilizes a predetermined step system for annual pay increases.
