Firefighter/Paramedic
The Town of Sudbury is seeking highly responsible candidates for the position of Firefighter/EMT-P. This is a full-time position with benefits, a starting Annual Salary of $76,029 (plus applicable stipends), opportunity for 100% tuition reimbursement, and a generous (up to 15%) education incentive.
Minimum qualifications: current MA EMT-P certification, current driver’s license, non-Smoker.

Employment will be contingent upon the satisfactory results of a number of pre-placement conditions including:
-Thorough background investigation, including motor vehicle, and criminal background check
-Pre-employment physical examination
-Drug-screening test
-Psychological screening
-Physical Abilities Test (PAT) to test the strength and agility required (consisting of seven stations)
As a condition of employment, successful candidates must remain a non-smoker and comply with any residency requirements as outlined by state law and/or the Town’s collective bargaining agreement.
Successful candidates must attend and successfully complete the full-time recruit program at the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy prior to the conclusion of their probationary period.
