2024 Election and Town Meeting Schedule
There are four Elections and one Town Meeting scheduled in 2024. This schedule is subject to change. Special Town Meetings and Elections may be called by the Select Board.

SEPTEMBER
- SEPTEMBER 3 – TUES – STATE PRIMARY
- Last day to Register for the State Primary is Saturday, August 24, 2024
- Vote by Mail is available. Last day to request a vote by mail ballot is August 26, 2024 at 5PM
- In Person Early Voting- 8/24/24-8/30/2024 at Town Hall
- All Precincts vote at the Fairbank Community Center on election day
NOVEMBER
- NOVEMBER 5 – TUES – STATE ELECTION
- Last day to Register for the State Election is Saturday, October 26, 2024
- All Precincts vote at the Fairbank Community Center on election day
Past Elections & Town Meetings
MARCH
- MARCH 5 – TUES – PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY
- Last day to register to vote for the Presidential Primary is February 24, 2024.
- Vote by Mail is available. Last day to request a vote by mail ballot is February 27, 2024. Post card applications will be mailed out to every registered voter 45 days before the election by the Secretary of State.

- MARCH 25 – MON – ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION
- Nomination papers may be picked up from the Town Clerk’s Office beginning Thursday, January 4th.
- Last day to take out nomination papers is January 31st.
- Last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Election is Friday March 15, 2024.
- Vote by Mail is available. Last day to request a vote by mail ballot is March 18, 2024.
MAY
- MAY 6 – MON – 7:30pm – ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
- Last day to Register for Annual Town Meeting is Friday, April 26, 2024.
