There are three elections and one Town Meeting scheduled in 2026. This schedule is subject to change. Special Town Meetings and Elections may be called by the Select Board.

JANUARY

 

FEBRUARY

  • February 3 – TUES – Select Board Meeting – Receipt of ATM Warrant Articles
  • February 5 – THURS – Last Day to take out Nomination Papers for ATE
  • February 9 – MON – Last day to return signed Nomination Papers for ATE
  • February 17 – TUES – Select Board Meeting – Sign ATE Warrant
  • February 23 – MON – Deadline for Ballot Question notification to Town Clerk for ATE
  • February 23 – MON – Select Board Meeting – Capital Night (Joint Meeting with SPS, CIAC and Fin Comm)
  • February 25 – WED – Deadline to withdraw candidacy for ATE

 

MARCH

  • March 9 – MON – Select Board Meeting – FY27 Budget Hearing (Joint Meeting with Fin Comm)
  • March 20 – FRI – Deadline to Register to Vote for the ATE
  • March 23 – MON – Last day to request a Vote by Mail ballot for ATE
  • March 23 – MON – Warrant posting deadline for ATE
  • March 30 – MON – ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION
    • 7AM – 8PM
    • All Precincts vote at the Fairbank Community Center (40 Fairbank Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776) on election day
  • March 31 – TUES – Select Board Meeting – Sign ATM Warrant

 

APRIL

  • March 9 – MON – Select Board Meeting – FY27 Budget Hearing (Joint Meeting with Fin Comm)
  • April 24 – FRI – Deadline to Register to Vote for the ATM
  • April 27 – MON – Warrant posting deadline for ATM

 

MAY

  • May 4 – MON – ANNUAL TOWN MEETING
    • Starts at 7PM
    • Voters attend Town Meeting in person at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Auditorium (390 Lincoln Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776)
    • Continued on May 5 and May 6, if needed

 

AUGUST

  • August 22 – SAT – Deadline to Register to Vote for State Primary
  • August 25 – TUES – Last day to request a Vote by Mail ballot for State Primary

 

SEPTEMBER

  • September 1 – TUES – STATE PRIMARY
    • 7AM – 8PM
    • All Precincts vote at the Fairbank Community Center (40 Fairbank Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776) on election day

 

OCTOBER

  • October 24 – SAT – Deadline to Register to Vote for State Election
  • October 27 – TUES – Last day to request a Vote by Mail ballot for State Election

 

NOVEMBER

  • November 3 – TUES – STATE ELECTION
    • 7AM – 8PM
    • All Precincts vote at the Fairbank Community Center (40 Fairbank Rd, Sudbury, MA 01776) on election day
