Water Chestnut Treatment – Hop Brook Mill Ponds

Water and Wetlands will be conducting the fourth year of water chestnut management at Grist Mill, Carding Mill, and Stearns Mill Ponds on June 30th. This will be the first of at least two treatments that will be conducted this year using Clearcast. This is the second year that Water and Wetlands has performed this treatment and there is a marked improvement over last year’s water chestnut population.
