The Town of Sudbury seeks applicants for the full-time position of Electrician to work under the general direction of the Combined Facilities Director and the Sudbury Public Schools Maintenance Director. Responsibilities will include installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment in all Town and school buildings and property; assist in the development and implementation of facilities inspections and preventive maintenance plan; maintains accurate records for all work performed; ability to respond to emergency situations and be available one weekend per month “on-call”; provide assistance to the Facilities Director and Sudbury Public Schools Maintenance Director with reviews of construction documents for both new and renovation projects.  Must have high school diploma or equivalent and valid Massachusetts driver’s license.  A current Master or Journey Electrician License issued by the Massachusetts Board of Registration.  Minimum of seven years in the electrical trade, preferably including experience in the operation and repair of high voltage electrical equipment and auxiliary generators.  Thorough knowledge of codes including the Code of Massachusetts Regulations (C.M.R.) pertaining to the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
