Chapter 140 MGL Section 137 requires all dogs six (6) months of age or older, be licensed. Town Bylaws require a $25 late penalty in addition to the licensing fee to be imposed for dogs 6 months of age and older who remain unlicensed after March 31. The Town Clerk’s Office will stay open until 8 PM on Friday, March 31 to accommodate dog licensing.
