On Friday, September 14, The Town of Sudbury conducted a recount of the Massachusetts’ 3rd District Congressional Votes from the September 4 State Primary Election. Only Precinct 1 is represented by Massachusetts’ 3rd Congressional District. Sudbury’s results remained unchanged from the original State Primary results.

Changes to original results are possible and not unusual when recounts are conducted.

Sudbury is fortunate to have excellent Town Staff, Election Workers and Members of the Board of Registrars’ of Voters. Their understanding and implementation of the election regulations and processes was evident during the recount. I appreciate and thank them for their professionalism, dedication and commitment.
