Early Voting

All voters registered in the Town of Sudbury will be able vote before Election Day beginning on October 24 and continuing through November 4, 2016. Unlike absentee voting, early voting is for every registered voter. Registered voters do not need an excuse or reason to vote early. Please note, however, once a voter has cast an early voting ballot, the voter may no longer vote at the polls on Election Day.

In the Town of Sudbury, early voting can be done in person at the Town Hall, 322 Concord Road, beginning Monday, October 24 and ending on Friday, November 4. The schedule includes hours on Saturday, October 29.

Early Voting Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday – 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM

Tuesday – 8:30 AM until 7:00 PM

Friday – 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM.

Registered voters also have the option to request an early voting ballot through the mail. Simply fill out an application and mail it to Town Clerk, 322 Concord Road, Sudbury MA 01776. The application can be found on the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website: http://www.sec.state.ma.us/ele. Only the voter may request an Early Voter Ballot. Early voting ballots cannot be mailed to voters until October 24 and must be received back in the Town Clerk’s Office before the polls close at 8 PM on November 8.

Posted mail frequently takes 7 to 10 days even within Sudbury. Please take this into consideration when requesting ballots by mail or mailing voted ballots back to the Town Clerk’s Office. Ballots received in the Town Clerk’s Office after 8 PM on election day, cannot not be counted.
